Jeremy P. Green EA, CFP, CTFA, CLU, CEBS, MSFS, AEP
I improve the quality, timing, and experience of decision making for high net worth clients of law, accounting, wealth management and insurance firms engaged in the structuring of estate/ trust, business, philanthropic and advanced life insurance planning by collaborating in the tax structuring & identifying the actual economic values of techniques vs. alternatives using proprietary tax modeling that demonstrates outcomes not currently available using other commercially available software. As Edward Demming once said, "without data you're just another person with an opinion." I don't compete with professionals who do legal work, tax compliance, manage assets or place life insurance.
I have 17 years of industry experience. I held positions in a multi-family office, three registered investment advisory firms (two were also M Financial member firms), the private client services of a large national bank and the bank distribution arm of a life insurance company. I also served in active federal military service in the United States Army in the Republic of Korea from 1996 to 1998.
I have testified in FINRA arbitration and Federal District Court cases as an expert witness on the proper use and design of sophisticated trust/estate and life insurance funding techniques. I am a former President and board member of the Twin Cities Society of Financial Service Professionals, serving my fifth year as the national online asset management course instructor for the Certified Employee Benefit Specialists designation program, a member of the Twin Cities Financial & Estate Planning Councils and Minnesota Financial Planning Association.
I am admitted to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent, a Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Trust Financial Advisor, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, Chartered Life Underwriter, Accredited Estate Planner, graduate of the Institute of Certified Bankers National Graduate Trust School, the American Institute of Banker's Personal Trust School and the American College's Master of Science in Financial Services degree program.
I am a technology consultant with over 10 years of experience in the field. I've spent 8 years working as a Performance Analyst under the quantitative analysis group at an institutional asset management firm. During that time, I was an integral part of several project teams that implemented mission critical systems. Because of the breadth of my experience in the technology field, I have the ability to serve all technology solutions. My expertise includes web development, app development, internet marketing, SEO, hardware deployment, network configuration, and much more.
I have over eight years of experience working as an analyst in the wealth management sector, specializing in operational, financial, and data analytics. Over that time, I also consulted with small businesses and entrepreneurs as part of the Northfield Enterprise Center, and lectured annually at St. Olaf as an integral part of their capstone management class. I graduated with distinction in Economics, with an emphasis in Management, and a major in Mathetics from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. I'm enrolled in Notre Dame University's MBA program starting this fall.
